MULTAN, Dec 2: A bus ran over a student of class two in the Industrial Estate area on Tuesday, sparking protests by the area people.

Seven-year-old Shahroz Ahmad was standing outside SOS Hermann Gmeiner School after the school closed when a bus hit and killed him at the scene.

Later, Ahmad’s relatives and neighbours gathered at Mill Phatak and protested against the incident.

They also burnt tyres and dispersed after senior police officials reached the scene and talked to them on the issue. Muzaffarabad police claimed to have arrested bus driver Haji Muhammad.
