LAHORE, Nov 26: The Islami Jamiat Tulaba (IJT) on Wednesday organised a “Down with America” rally on The Mall from Punjab University Old Campus to Governor’s House.

The rally was led by IJT Nazim-i-Aala Attiqur Rahman, former MNA Hafiz Salman Butt, Lahore Bar Association Secretary Latif Sra, IJT’s Punjab University Nazim Sohaib Ammar Saddique, IJT’s Punjab Nazim Hafiz Nadeem and Lahore Nazim Abdul Basit.

A large number of students from different educational institutions in Lahore took part in the rally.

The protesters, who were carrying banners, posters and placards, chanted slogans against America and policies of the Pakistani government. — Reporter
