QUETTA, May 11: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 29 kilograms of heroin from a place 15 km east of Dalbandin, on Saturday.

According to sources, ANF men on a tip-off raided the deserted area of Dalbandin and recovered the heroin hidden in an abandoned hut. However, no arrest could be made.

Meanwhile, Pishin Scouts, a wing of the Frontier Corps, Balochistan, recovered 65 kilograms of fine quality hashish from Roghani top, an area of Afghan refugee camp near the Pakistan-Afghan border. The smugglers were carrying the consignment on the back of donkeys.

The smugglers escaped with their donkeys across the border while throwing the contraband. No arrest was reported.
