Labourer killed

ISLAMABAD, Nov 24: A labourer was killed after he fell from a road roller at an under-construction housing society here on Monday.

Police said Ibrahim Khan fell from the vehicle when he was sitting in it, while leveling the earth at the Garden Housing Society at Kurul.

He suffered critical injuries and lost consciousness. Later, he was shifted to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, a man who suffered burn injuries when he was trapped in flames that erupted at A-One Plaza on Saturday night died at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.

According to police, Zahid Omer Khan suffered burn injuries when fire broke out in the plaza due to gas cylinder blast. He was rescued by the firefighters and taken to the hospital where he was kept under the observation of the doctors, but could not survive.
