BANNU, Nov 24: A police post was blown up by suspected militants in Bannu on Monday.

However, no casualty was reported because the post had been abandoned by police after a rocket attack by some outlaws a couple of days ago.

Suspected militants had planted an improvised explosive device in the Lowara Pul police post that exploded with a big bang destroying it.

The rocket attack on the police post from an undisclosed location a couple of days had left three policemen dead and two injured. A bridge a few yards from the post had also been damaged.
