HYDERABAD: STP amends its constitution

HYDERABAD, Nov 23: A three-day congress of Sindh Taraqi Passand Party concluded here on Sunday after approving amendments to the party constitution.

The chairman of the party, Dr Qadir Magsi, presented the draft amendments which were approved by the congress after detailed discussions.

Election of the central party leadership was also held in which Dr Magsi was elected as chairman of the party for the next two years unanimously. A 20-member central committee was also elected.

Speaking on the occasion,

Dr Magsi said that due to the wrong and anti-people policies of the government, the country was in the grip of serious crisis and it had become beyond the control of the rulers to rectify the situation.—Bureau
