Published November 20, 2008

LAHORE, Nov 19: The medical report submitted in the Lahore High Court on Wednesday about the two maidservants allegedly tortured by their employer revealed that Anam had 16 injuries on her body while her sister had sustained 12 wounds.

The medical reports of the minor girls confirmed that both sustained injuries but none of them had bone fracture.

Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi after going through reports has summoned Model Town SHO for Thursday (today), besides seeking complete medical reports from authorities concerned. The LHC on Tuesday had ordered comprehensive medical check-up of the two sisters working as maids who were illegally detained and severely tortured by their employer, alleging that they helped their father in stealing money from his house.

The bailiff had produced Anam (12) and Sana (10) before the court after getting them recovered from Model Town residence of Usman. — Staff Reporter
