PIAF-Founders Alliance on top

LAHORE, Nov 19: The PIAF-Founders Alliance on Wednesday clean sweeped the election for 15 Associate Class seats of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) for 2008-09. The panel’s win has paved the way for election of its president, senior vice president and vice president on Nov 24.

Of the 1,424 votes, the PIAF-Founders Alliance got 833 and its rival Founders Azad Group 225.

Soon after the results, the newly-elected executive committee elected Nabeela Intisar and Asia Sial Khan on reserved seats for women.—Reporter
