Nomination papers filed for NA-210

JACOBABAD, Nov 15: Fourteen candidates filed nomination papers on Saturday for contesting election for NA-210 at the office of returning officer and additional session judge, Qamaruddin Abbasi, in Kandhkot.

The seat had fallen vacant after sudden death of Nasrullah Bijarani during in-camera session of the National Assembly over a fortnight ago.

The forms were submitted by Mir Shabbir Ali Bijarani, Israr Ahmed Khoso, Mukhtiar Ahmed Sohryani, Ghulam Sarwar Sarki, Gul Mohammad Jakhrani, Shabana Malik, Arifa Bijrani, daughter of Nasarullah Khan Bijarani, Mian Abdul Manan, Dhani Bux Malik, Mir Iqbal Bijarani, Shaharyar Khan Mazari, Iqbal Sundrani, Mir Asghar Ali Bijarani and Fateh Mohammad Bijarani. The date of scrutiny of forms Nov 17 and 18 while the final list would be declared on Nov 28.
