Published November 16, 2008

JACOBABAD, Nov 15: A large number of doctors, lady health workers, paramedical staff and relatives of Dr Abdul Hameed Kehar and his driver who were kidnapped a couple of days ago held a rally under the banner of Pakistan Medical Association in protest against the kidnapping on Saturday.

The rally led by the president of PMA Sindh Dr AG Ansari, started from the Civil Hospital and terminated outside residence of federal health minister.

The protesters said that police had failed to recover Dr Kehar and his driver, which proved the department’s inefficiency.
