SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 14: Activities in connection with the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanank concluded in Nankana Sahib early on Friday.

More than 15,000 Sikhs and Hindus were part of the three-day event during which they performed rituals and invoked the Sikh leader’s blessings.

Sardar Baldive Singh Sohatra, one of the visitors, told journalists that the Pakistani government had made ample arrangements for the devotees who had come from India and other parts of the world to pay homage to Guru Nanak.

“We shall never forget the hospitality shown by the people here,” he added. —Correspondent
