Published November 14, 2008

LAHORE, Nov 13: The police and the bomb disposal squad searched the Lahore High Court building on Thursday when an unidentified caller told Police Rescue 15 that a bomb had been planted on court premises.

“Someone called from a cell phone and claimed that a bomb was planted inside the court,” the SHO of the Old Anarkali police station said. After receiving the information, the high court security staff followed its due procedure and called the bomb disposal squad to search the whole building.

The squad searched almost all courtrooms and also toilets but it was turned out to be a hoax.
