LAHORE, Nov 11: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has registered a case against a former Kasur district officer (revenue), a patwari and eight others for ‘illegally’ transferring 468 kanals of land.

According to the FIR, former DOR Chaudhry Ilyas and Patwari Muhammad Mukhtar in connivance with Ghulam Murtaza and Nisar Ahmad changed ownership of the land in Mauza Bogaki. The land is owned by complainant Nisar Ahmad Khan.

The complainant said he neither sold nor transferred the property, but the officials in connivance with imposters transferred it to Ghulam Cheema.

An ACE official said raids were being conducted for the arrest of the accused.
