Tandoor owners to get flour from mills

LAHORE, Nov 10: District Coordination Officer Sajjad Ahmad Bhutta on Monday inaugurated a new system for direct supply of flour for Sasti Roti Scheme to ‘tandoor’ owners from the mills.

Inaugurating the system at a mills on Mohni Road, the DCO said registered tandoor owners would be allowed to purchase 20kg flour bags from the mills for one to five days requirement at the rate of Rs245 each after informing the town municipal administration in advance.

The mills would identify tandoor owners from their finger prints. Registration of tandoor owners found selling roti for more than Rs2 would be cancelled.
