Qasim, Asif press conference tomorrow

KARACHI, Nov 8: To brief the press of the preparations being made for the first Test match in the junior home series against India at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP), President, Pakistan Hockey Federation Qasim Zia and Secretary Asif Bajwa have called a press conference at 6.00pm at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP) for Monday.

The five Test-match series will see matches at the Hockey Club of Pakistan, Karachi (Nov 11); Army Hockey Stadium, Rawalpindi (Nov 13); Faisalabad Hockey Stadium (Nov 15), Sialkot Hockey Stadium (Nov 18) and National Hockey Stadium, Lahore (Nov 21).

The HCP, which is holding an international-level match after 2004, has recently received a fresh coat of paint and a new lighting system for the event. The Indian junior hockey team arrives in Karachi from Lahore the same day.—Sports Reporter
