FAISALABAD, Nov 7: The district government has installed 38 seed graders to clean eight million kilogramme of seeds, Agriculture (extension) Director General Anjum Ali said this at a department meeting here on Friday.

The Punjab government has set wheat targets of all districts.

He said the government is distributing printed literature to farmers with information regarding modern techniques of wheat sowing.

He said rallies were also taken out in tehsils. Briefing the participants, Agriculture (extension) DO Abdul Hameed said the district government had given 914 agriculture equipment to farmer on half rates.

Up to 1,145 farmers submitted applications for the facility and 399 growers were selected for equipment through a balloting.
