KHAIRPUR, Nov 5: A group of students of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) belonging to Faiz Gunj taluka demonstrated here on Wednesday against lack of transport facility.

They said that due to lack of transport facility, about 100 students of Faiz Gunj taluka were unable to reach the university.

They said that they manage to reach the university by using private transport which was costly. They added that they have been demanding for point bus but the SALU administration seems to be in no mood to solve their problem.

VISIT: A senior professor in Polymers and Applied Chemistry department of Shah Abdul Latif University, Dr Shafique Ahmed Arain, is leaving for Nepal to attend the 5th International Conference on Science and Technology to be held from November 10 to 12. Earlier, Nepalese scientist Dr Pawan R. Shakya visited the SALU last year.
