NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, May 10: A protest rally was taken out by the sanitation staff of the taluka council from the council office to the press club here on Friday.

Many regular and retired sweepers of the taluka council, including females and their children, also participated in the rally.

The protestors complained that they had not been paid their salaries and monthly pension for the last three months and added that due to this they were leading a miserable life.

They demanded of the Sindh governor and the provincial finance minister to look into the matter and sanction the required budget for their salaries.

RALLY: The employees of Sindh food department took out a rally on the 10th day of their protest here on Friday.

They said that they had been serving as watchmen in the department for the last several years, but were not confirmed. They added that the dresses for watchmen were not provided for the last many years.

They demanded of the Sindh governor to confirm temporary watchmen of the food department.
