HYDERABAD: Literary moot

HYDERABAD, Oct 29: The University of Sindh will hold second Shaikh Ayaz International Conference on Language and Literature next month under the aegis of Faculty of Arts. The conference will begin from November 7.

The decision was taken at a meeting presided over by the Vice Chancellor and chief patron of the conference, Mr Mazharul Haq Siddiqui and attended by the members of organising committee and conveners of various committees.

The Dean Faculty of Arts and Chairman of the organising committee informed the meeting that scholars, both local and foreign, have confirmed participation by sending abstracts of their papers.

India, Nepal, the UK, the US, Saudia Arabia, France and Norway are likely to send their scholars to attend the conference which will be inaugurated by Federal Minister for Environment Hameedullah Jan Afridi.
