Colleges planned in Dadu

DADU, Oct 25: Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq has said that an institute for graduate course in business administration has been sanctioned for Dadu by the Sindh government which will later be upgraded to the level of a university.

He disclosed that grant for Pir Illahi Bux Law College Dadu has been approved by the Sindh government and work on this project would start soon.

He said that he was not satisfied with the work of education department officials of the district and warned them to improve the standard of education in Dadu otherwise strict action will be taken against them. He was speaking to lawyers at District Bar Office here on Saturday.

Pir Mazhar said that President Asif Ali Zardari was launching a six-month training programme for lawyers from Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Youth Programme and added that Rs15,000 stipend will be paid to lawyers per month.

He said that Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, had approved the overhead bridge at railway crossing Dadu to end traffic problems. He further said that Sindh chief minister had also granted Rs50 million for schemes of CC blocks and drainage system for Dadu city.
