Assurance to investors

ISLAMABAD, Oct 25: Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf on Saturday said the government will facilitate and provide investor-friendly environment to the Chinese and all the foreign investors to attract investment in water and power sector in the country.

“Chinese interest to invest in the hydel-power generation projects would help meet the country’s future power requirements at affordable rates,” he said.

The minister made these remarks while talking to a team of China International Water and Electric Corporation.—APP
