KARACHI, Oct 24: Karachi United (KU) FC outclassed Hazara Mohammadan 5-0, Nazimabad FC edged past Aurora FC 1-0 and Ghani XI beat Gharib Nawaz Dalmia 4-2 as Sport 360’s KASB Premier League Football (PLF) resumed after a week’s break at the City District Government Karachi (CDGK) Stadium on Thursday.

KU opened the scoring in the eighth minute through their striker Zaid Kerai. The 22nd minute saw them doubling the lead through fellow striker Usman Saad to make the score 2-0 at interval.

The second session saw the happening of three more goals for KU. Zaid Kerai scored in the 57th, Daniyal Alvi in the 69th and substitute striker Mohammad Azhar in the 76th minute, giving KU a massive win against Hazara Mohammadan.

The second encounter between Nazimabad FC and Aurora FC saw the match’s one and only goal being scored in the 61st minute when Nazimabad’s skipper and striker Atif Fatah converted the penalty kick awarded to him as a result of being stopped inside the box through foul play by Aurora’s striker Hameed Afridi.

Meanwhile, the match between Gharib Nawaz Dalmia and Ghani XI saw the losing side on constant attack, keeping Ghani XI under pressure throughout, which worked in their favour, finally.

The first goal was scored by Gharib Nawaz through a penalty kick converted by midfielder Mohammad Iqbal in the 17th minute but Ghani XI restored parity through their striker Hashmatullah in the 44th minute.

The second half’s play saw Gul Mohammad scoring two goals for Ghani XI, in the 54th and 61st minutes followed by Gharib Nawaz getting their second one in the 63rd minute through their midfielder Mohammad Khalid. The 90th minute brought with it Hashmatullah’s second goal which also happened to be Ghani XI’s fourth.
