Cueists leave for Vienna today

KARACHI, Oct 24: After getting visas on Friday, Pakistan snooker team leaves for Vienna, Austria, on Saturday morning to feature in the IBSF World snooker championship being held at Wels from Oct 27 to Nov 8.

The team comprises two players, Saleh Mohammad and Khurram Agha. They will be accompanied by three officials, namely Wahid Qadir (manager), Alamgir Shaikh (delegate) and Shabbir Daruwala (referee).

The trip has been financed by the Pakistan Sports Trust (PST) which provided Rs0.6 million to the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA).
