NA standing committees elect chairmen

ISLAMABAD, Oct 23: Khurrum Dastgir, Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali, Raja Mohammad Asad Khan, Haji Muhammad Akram Ansari, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Murtaza Javed Abassi were elected chairmen of National Assembly standing committees on commerce, education, environment, textile, railways and narcotics control, respectively on Thursday.

The meetings of the standing committees were held in Parliament House for election of their chairmen.

National Assembly Secretary Karamat Hussain Niazi conducted the elections.
