SAHIWAL, Oct 22: A youth was shot dead while another was injured seriously over a land dispute in Chak 29/11-L on Wednesday.

Reports said Afzal and Nadeem were present at the house of their uncle, Ilyas, when accused Zulfiqar Jat along with six accomplices started abusing them outside the house. As Ilyas and his nephews stepped out of the house, Zulfiqar and accomplices fired at them, killing Afzal instantly and injuring Nadeem seriously. The injured man was taken to the local DHQ Hospital.

Ghaziabad police have registered a case against the accused.
