KARACHI, Oct 18: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has urged the president, prime minister and the other authorities concerned to take notice of, what it called, “target killing of its workers by a sectarian organisation”, and order arrest of culprits.

Speaking at a press conference here on Saturday, MQM coordination committee member and provincial minister Syed Shoaib Bukhari condemned the killing of two Muttahida activists in Lines Area and New Karachi on Friday.

Without naming any particular party, he said that a sectarian organisation was involved in these incidents, and called for immediate arrest of culprits. He demanded that the killers be awarded exemplary punishment.
