Woman gunned down on road

LAHORE, Oct 15: Two unidentified men gunned down a 40-year-old woman on Kutcha Rasheed Road on Wednesday.

Lower Mall police said Naureen, wife of Tariq of Kareem Park, was standing on the road when two motorcyclists came there, had a conversation with her, opened fire at her and fled.

Family told the police that Naureen used to deal in indigenous deposit scheme. A case was registered against her killers on her husband’s complaint.

ACCIDENT: A Parks and Horticulture Authority employee was killed in an accident on Sherpao Bridge.

Liaquat, 30, was riding a bicycle when a car hit him. He fell from the bridge and died instantly. The car driver fled. — Staff Reporter
