GUJRANWALA, Oct 15: The Federal Investigation Agency (passport cell), Gujranwala, claimed on Wednesday to have taken into custody 34 people deported from Turkey.

FIA Additional Director Hussain Asghar said human traffickers sent the 34 people of Gujrat to Greece after extorting huge money. Some of the deportees were injured or ill, he added.

LOCK-UP: The buildings department has prepared the feasibility of the proposed judicial lock-up to be constructed at the sessions court.

This was stated by a sessions court spokesman who said the Lahore High Court had approved the project.

He said the existing judicial lock-up was too small to accommodate the prisoners escorted from the central jail for hearing of their cases.
