Three killed in car collision

KHANEWAL, Oct 11: Three participants in a marriage party, including bridegroom’s mother and sister, were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between two cars near Lakki Tibbi, Jangal Mariala, about 20km from here, in Jahanian police precincts on Saturday evening.

Reports said a wedding party was coming back from Jahanian to Khanewal when two cars collided with each other. As a result, bridegroom’s mother Shazia Bibi, sister Aman Bibi and relative Javaid were killed on the spot.

Bridegroom’s father Aslam and another relative were injured seriously.

The injured were taken to Khanewal DHQ Hospital.

A case has been registered.
