Two die, 12 hurt in accidents

SHIKARPUR, Oct 9: Two people died and 12, including five women were injured in accidents on Indus Highway, one in Karampur and the other in Khanpur area on Thursday.

Kuraro Chachar on donkey-cart and Ms Yasmin on a motorcycle with her father Rahib Babar were killed when a coach hit the cart and bike near Begari bridge in Karampur area.

In another accident nine people travelling in a car were injured when an oil tanker hit their vehicle near Faizoo Laro. Nazar Bhutto, Abdul Hakeem, Sanaullah, Saifullah, Qadir Bux, Ms Neelan, Ms Rabia, Ms Asma and Ms Uzma were injured.
