Published October 9, 2008

KARACHI, Oct 8: The Pakistan Muslim League-Functional has rejected speculation about the party’s joining the government.

A spokesman for the party termed all such reports “baseless and unfounded”, stating categorically that PML-F chief Pir Pagara had neither nominated any party members nor had he been consulted by anyone for induction into the government.

“All such reports are mere speculations being spread by vested interests,” he remarked.
