Ex-minister dies in road accident

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 5: A former caretaker minister of Balochistan and his guard were killed and four others sustained injuries in a road accident near Moro on Sunday.

The former minister, Mir Murad Abro, and his guard Pir Bux Abro, were killed while his son Mohammad Jawad, nephew Sultan, brother Dr Ubedullah and cousin Dost Mohammad Abro suffered serious injuries when their vehicle overturned on the National Highway.

The bodies and the injured were brought to the taluka hospital in Moro. Police informed the relatives of the deceased in Balochistan who were on their way to Moro.

In another incident, one Imam Bux Chandio, 50, was found dead in his house in Oad Colony. The deceased’s son Gulsher Chandio lodged an FIR with Moro police.

ASI Moro police station, Bakhshal Khan said that as per complaint, deceased’s close relatives Jano, Ibrahim and Gul Chandio., called deceased on Saturday night for usual discussion.

The complainant said when deceased did not return, he went to the Jano’s autaq where he found his father dead. The deceased was injured with hatchet blows on head and other parts of the body and with marks of bullets as well.
