LAHORE, Oct 3: The Punjab University administration has constructed a wall and separated Hostel No. 1’s four rooms, which were recently occupied by Islami Jamiat Tulaba (IJT) activists, from the main hostel.

The rooms, which have doors from outside, will be used for RO-II, project director and security offices.

It is learnt that IJT activists broke the wall on Eid day.

The university administration has also enhanced security around Hostel No. 1 to check infiltration of IJT activists and others.

Governor Salmaan Taseer is likely to visit Punjab University on Oct 9. He will also visit Hostel No. 1.

IJT leaders say they will evolve their future strategy after Eid holidays.
