NIB Bank in AKU cricket semi-finals

KARACHI, Sept 27: NIB Bank sailed into the AKU Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament semi-finals when they beat Advance Telecom by seven wickets at the AKU Ground on Friday.

Advance Telecom put in to bat first, scored 117 for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Khurram Izhar scored 30 with two fours and a six.

NIB Bank, in response, reached the modest target 118 for the loss of three wickets in 15 overs. Aziz Zubairi slammed 42 with four hits to the boundary and one over it. Salman Hafeez scored an undefeated 32 with the aid of four boundaries.
