KARACHI, Sept 25: Two ships carrying containers and phosphoric acid were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, three more ships with containers, coal and iron ore also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Inori, Captain Markos, Nova Noor, S.D Glory, Xue Song, Chemstar Moon and Pas Dignity, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, palm oil, phosphoric acid and coal.

A cargo volume of 47,163 tons comprising 34,751 tons of import and 12,412 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Vema Ocean and Inori sailed out while S.D Glory, Xue Song and Chemstar Moon were expected to depart.
