‘PCB under Sports Ministry’

ISLAMABAD, Sept 17: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is under the Federal Sports Ministry and will work according to guidelines of the sports ministry till the notification of the new chairman.

This was declared by the Federal Sports Minister Najamuddin Khan here at Pakistan Sports Complex on Wednesday. The post of the chairman PCB is lying vacant after the resignation of Dr Nasim Ashraf.

In his brief statement about the PCB, Najamuddin said that the ministry would soon issue a notification directing PCB to respond to us until the appointment of new chairman.—Sports Reporter
