KARACHI, Sept 14: The excise police on Sunday raided a house in Block E of Akhtar Colony and recovered a big quantity of spirit smuggled from Lahore in the name of homeopathic medicines, along with spurious foreign wine, local liquor, sealing machine and other equipment used in the preparation of liquor.
Two suspects, identified as Hassan Zahid and Jalaluddin, were arrested and a case was registered against them.
According to initial investigation, the suspects were providing home delivery service of liquor to their customers.—PPI
