Two children die of gastroenteritis

DADU, Sept 11: Gastroenteritis has taken lives of two more children, while hospitalising 20 others in various parts of Taluka Johi on Thursday. Benazir Birhamani 7, of KT Wassan village and Gulistan Pahore 3, of Johi died due to gastroenteritis.

Some 20 children have been hospitalised in government and private hospitals of Johi. On the directives of EDO Health, two medical teams led by Dr Abdul Aziz Chandio and Dr Abdul Hameed Soomro were sent to the affected villages for treatment of patients.—BoC
