LARKANA, Sept 10: Two men killed their 60-year-old mother on the pretext of karo-kari in Korkani village on Wednesday.

Mehrullah Korkani has lodged an FIR against his sons Wajid and Abdul Razzak for killing his innocent wife.

Mehrullah Korkani told local journalists in Shahdadkot hospital, that his wife was killed under false charge of kari.

When pressed whether there was any family or land dispute behind this murder, he replied in negative adding only that she was innocent.

The body after post mortem was handed over to him for burial in the village Tillan Korkani located in the jurisdiction of Sujawal Junejo police station.

Our Khairpur correspondent adds: A man lodged murder case of her teenaged daughter by her bandit uncle on the pretext of karo-kari with Agrra police, on Tuesday. Bandit Ghulam Rasool, Sikandar, Allah Wasayo and five unidentified persons were nominated in the FIR.
