BANNU: Five killed, two injured in Bannu

BANNU, Sept 10: Five people were killed and two injured in separate incidents here on Wednesday.

In the first incident, Sardar and his son Gohar were killed and Ibrar and Shahid sustained injuries in crossfire with a rival group in Sorani area of Kachozai over land dispute.

One Mirzaullah, a member of the rival group, was also killed during exchange of fire. Both groups lodged cross FIRs against each other.

Meanwhile, two stepbrothers fired at each others in Bara Chashmi village in the jurisdiction of Domail police station.

Mehr Bano told the local police that her sons Naseeb and Qesmatullah shot at each other over some petty dispute when they were hunting in the Ping area. Both of them succumbed to their injuries.—Correspondent
