MIRPURKHAS, Sept 10: Four teenage boys were injured when a private security guard’s gun went off by accident at Government SAL Science College on Tando Adam road near here on Wednesday.

The private security guard of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of Mirpurkhas, Kamran Qureshi, was going to BISE Mirpurkhas when he pulled the trigger of his gun unintentionally. Furqan, 4, Atif, 8, Bilawal, 8, and Kamran, 18 who were playing outside their homes were injured. They were shifted to civil hospital. Town police have arrested Kamran Qureshi. No case was lodged till filing of this report.

CONSTABLE HURT: A police constable received injuries when he was hit by a fast moving truck on Ratanabad checkpost on Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas road on Wednesday.

He was taken to the hospital. The truck driver fled along with the truck.

NOT PAID: Six employees of district prison Sanghar, who are working at district prison Mirpurkhas on deputation have not been paid their salaries since last six months.

Noor Mohammad, Ali Bahadur, Mohammad Gulab, Umer Ali, Mohammad Ramzan and Abdul Hanif appealed to higher authorities to ensure payment of their salaries.
