Adeel, Adnan shine in Ramazan cricket

KARACHI, Sept 8: The Old Grammarian Society and Aga Khan University Staff (AKU) won their round matches in the fourth AKU Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament at the AKU Sports Ground on Sunday.

The Old Grammarian Society defeated Saudi Pak Bank by six wickets, thanks to a brilliant all-round show by Adeel Abbasi who captured three wickets for 28 and then cracked an enterprising 52 with seven boundaries. Adnan Sohail blasted three sixes and four fours in his 43 for the winners.

In the other match, AKU Staff team beat Advance Telecom by 73 runs. Adnan Jafri starred in his team’s victory, hitting 47 with four fours and a brace of sixes besides taking three wickets for 25.
