KARACHI, Sept 8: Pakistan wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed smashed a scintillating century as KESC beat Aga Khan Gymkhana (AKG) Whites by 26 runs in the AKG Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament at the AKG Ground here on Sunday.
Sarfraz hammered ten boundaries and three sixes in his 100 as KESC raced to 182 for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs.
AKG Whites in reply could manage to score 157 for nine in 20 overs despite a sparking 81, studded with six sixes and five boundaries, by Mir Afzal.
Noman Alvi finished with three wickets for 26 runs.
In another match, Dewan Farooq Motors (DFM) thrashed FB Academy by nine wickets.
Farrukh Bari scored an undefeated 50 laced with five fours and one six and Waqas Haroon made 37 not out with four hits to the boundary.
Earlier, FB Academy scored 104 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
Adnan Kaleem claimed three wickets for 21 runs.
