NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Sept 2: An elderly woman and two minor girls were killed when some armed men allegedly belonging to their rival tribe trespassed into their house and opened fire on the sleeping inmates in Ghulam Rasool Kalhoro village, 60 kilometers from here on Tuesday.

Reports reaching here said that the trespassers opened fire on the inmates after forcing into Aftab Kalhoro’s house and killed Aftab’s mother-in-law Noor Khatoon and his daughters Saima, 5, and Najma, 7.

Villagers told journalists that police had reached the village. The triple murder was an offshoot of a running dispute between Kalhoro and Samtiyo tribes, they said.
