KARACHI, Aug 30: The stock brokers and major market participants are likely to meet Finance Minister Naveed Qamar on Sunday.

“It is to be an informal chat over lunch arranged by one of the businessman members of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) at his residence,” said one person privy to the event.

The outcome of the encounter was not expected to be significant, but the “brokers would at least have an opportunity to discuss the dismal affairs of the market with the finance minister and put their point across,” said the source.
