HYDERABAD: University admission

HYDERABAD, Aug 27: The registrar of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) advised the students who wanted to apply for admission to the first year of engineering, city and regional planning and architecture to obtain forms and prospectus from designated branches of the HBL from Sept 1 to 15.

He said that the designated HBL branches were; Sindh University old campus, Hyderabad, Station Road, Dadu, Bunder Road, Larkana, Frere Road Sukkur, Masjid Road, Nawabshah, Main Bazaar, Sanghar, Jinnah Road, Mirpurkhas, Station Road, Badin, National Highway, Thatta, Mehran Hotel, Karachi and Mehran University, Jamshoro.

ANNIVARSARY: The 27th death anniversary of late professor Nabi Bux Daudpota, founder director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of the University of Sindh, was observed on Tuesday.—Bureau
