KARACHI, Aug 25: Ghani XI drew 2-2 with Sharafi Mohammadan while Hazara Mohammadan defeated Baloch Mujahid 2-1 in the ninth and tenth KASB Premier League Football (PLF) encounters played here at the National Coaching Centre ground on Sunday night.

The first match saw District Malir champions Sharafi Mohammadan making a comeback into the game in the second half after going 0-2 down against District West champions Ghani XI in the first.

It was striker Hashmatullah's solo effort that gave Ghani XI their lead in the 15th minute followed by defender Majid Lal's 22nd minute corner kick that earned them their second.

It was time for damage control from Sharafi M'Dan when they not only succeeded in blocking Ghani XI's attack but also exploited their defense in order to penetrate their side of the field and score two goals of their own in order to share points on the table.

The man who did that was their striker Mohammad Asghar whose solo effort brought two goals for Sharafi – one in the 64th minute and the next in the 68th bringing the final score to 2-2.

The other match between Hazara M'Dan and Baloch Mujahid, which Hazara won, had striker Alam Zeb opening the account for the winners in the 28th minute.

Meanwhile, striker Nadeem equalled for Baloch Mujahid in the 35th minute making the score line 1-1 at interval.

The decider came when Hazara’s striker Bilal Afridi got through for them in the 65th minute.
