MANSEHRA, Aug 24: A minor girl was sexually assaulted by a man in the Khwajgan area, leaving her seriously injured here on Sunday, residents and police sources said.
They said that five years old girl was taken to the fields by her neighbour where he allegedly assaulted her.
When the girl’s screams attracted the residents of the area, he fled. The girl was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The girl’s father lodged a case with the Saddar police station against the accused. Later, the police arrested the accused and started investigations.
