NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 22: Sindh Sagar Party president Maulana Azizullah Bohio has said that revolutionary leader Maulana Ubaidullah Sindhi struggled for independence of nations and exploitation-free society.

He was speaking at 63rd death anniversary of Maulana Ubaidullah Sindhi, arranged by his party here on Friday. He said the nations are known through their culture and language and not through the religion.

Hashim Khoso, Sagar Hanif Burdi, Mazhar Khaskheli, Zahid Rajpar, Gul Moro and others also spoke on the occasion.

Our Hyderabad Bureau adds: Tribute was paid to freedom fighter and scholar Maulana Ubaidullah Sindhi by the staff of the Sindhi Adabi Board on his death anniversary held on the lawns of the board in Jamshoro on Friday.

The vice-chairman of the board, Shaikh Aziz, presided over the function. Board secretary Professor Zawar Hussain Naqvi, Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui, Abdul Hafeez Qureshi, Nafees Ahmed Nashad and others spoke on the life and works of the revolutionary leader.—BoC
