LONDON, Aug 20: The fourth annual TechnologyWorld, one of the UK’s largest ‘speed meeting’ events for technology firms, will be taking place on Nov 17-18 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, United Kingdom.

The event organised by UK Trade & Investment, the Government’s international business development organisation, brings together more than 500 UK and overseas companies for two days focused on building potentially lucrative relationships and generating new business leads. The ‘speed-meeting’ format allows firms to make most of their time at the event by meeting a wide range of prospective buyers, sellers, partners and collaborators.

At last year’s TechnologyWorld more than 2,200 meetings took place between UK and overseas companies. In combination, the 2006 and 2007 events led to reported business deals valued at around lb30 million.

This year’s event has been designed for companies in the following sector: communications, Industrial electronics, systems and services, and Enterprise software systems and services; and technologies and services for retail and logistics sector.
